At Select, we go beyond exceptional performing arts training, we proudly offer a professional acting and performance agency for children verified on Spotlight and trusted by industry leaders.

We’ve connected students with casting opportunities from major platforms and brands including Disney, Netflix, BBC, ITV and more, opening doors to paid commercial work, screen acting, and modelling projects across the UK. 

Our agency is co-led by an industry expert who was formerly the director of a leading modelling agency, bringing a wealth of experience, industry insight, and professional standards to everything we do.

  • Unfortunately not! No agency is in a position to guarantee work, however any talent registered with us will be put forward for relevant roles.

  • There is no joining fee to the agency. However there is an annual admin fee of £35.00. This covers management, organisation, client liaison and audition/casting guidance.

    There is also an annual fee paid directly to Spotlight.

  • We will put your child forward for all castings they meet the criteria for. As and when a client contacts us to ask to meet your child for a casting or book them for a shoot, we will contact you immediately. Sometimes we might contact you beforehand if the client requests us to do so to confirm availability on a number of shortlisted models or to confirm details. We will not contact you each and every time your child is submitted for work as we simply do not have the time. It is crucial that parents continuously keep the agency informed of any changes including holiday dates.

  • The agency earns from commission. We take the standard 15% - 30% commission depending on the type of work on all fees (excluding travel expenses)

  • Yes, all monies earnt by the child client need to be placed in an account under their name.

  • Spotlight is the largest casting resource in the United Kingdom. Founded in 1927, it has over 70,000 actors, actresses, presenters, dancers, and stunt performers in its database.

    It is used by thousands of production companies, broadcasters, advertisement agencies, and casting directors.

    Spotlight is the home of casting, where your child can get their start on stage or screen. They are eligible for membership by having representation from an agent.

    New roles are added every day, casting for the best young talent in the UK and internationally.
